APPELLATE JUDGES EDUCATION INSTITUTE: Y’ALL COME!

Just a reminder that the Appellate Judges Education Institute will take place here in Dallas November 13–16 at the Marriott Center, Pearl and San Jacinto, with other events scattered around the Arts District and the city. Its name notwithstanding, the AJEI is not just for judges; practitioners are welcome and encouraged to attend. It is educational. The program will include talks by Justice Antonin Scalia and Bryan Garner, Erin Moriarty of CBS’s 48 Hours, Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, and many others. Local Fifth Circuit Judge Catharina Haynes and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings will preside over the opening ceremonies. Further details and links for registration can be found here.
